Hacks that work!
Make water your best friend

Sips of water through the day helps to prevent dryness in your mouth. A dry mouth is a smelly mouth. You should also have the habit of rinsing your mouth with water after eating or drinking anything that is not water. This will keep your mouth free from loose debris hanging around in your mouth.
Don't just brush your teeth, scrape your tongue

Your teeth aren't the only important things in your mouth; you've also got your tongue. Bad breath can result from being negligent about cleaning your tongue since your tongue can hold on to debris in your mouth like a sponge.
Floss! Floss!! Floss!!! - at least once every day

There's only so much that your brushing can do to keep your mouth clean, you still have unreachable areas like the tight contacts in-between your teeth. You should gently run your floss in between your teeth at least once every day to get that extra boost to your mouth's freshness.
Choose a non-alcoholic mouthwash

While using a mouthwash may seem like a good idea, you should pay attention to the kind of mouthwash you use. If it contains alcohol, it is bad for your mouth since the alcohol can make your mouth dry and then give you a rebound mouth odour after a short while. So, check the labels and tags, make sure you select a non-alcoholic mouthwash.
Eat a "scrubber" snack

A light afternoon snack on a firm, crunchy fruit or vegetable to give you that two-way shot of essential nutrients and mouth cleaning just like an on-the-go toothbrush. fruits and vegetables like apples, carrots, and cucumbers are great; their fleshy, fibrous texture acts like a scrubber in your mouth.
Sugar-free chewing gum

Yes, sugar-free gum is like a secret spa session for your mouth. It stimulates movement in your mouth as you chew which helps to clean your mouth just like changing the sheets on your bed. It also increases your saliva flow, and adds its own freshness to your breath, giving you a refreshing feeling. Do not chew your gum for hours on end though, just some minutes of gum chewing is all you need.
Know when to call for backup (that's me!)
At the end of it all, the most important thing is to always know that the dentist is always there for you, so CALL AND BOOK A DENTAL CHECKUP routinely and whenever you can't handle any problem.
